Like other wineries, Chateau Buera is located in the heart of Kakheti. It was another interesting 2-hour drive from the town of Tbilisi to the winery, with beautiful views along the road. 

Chateau Buera酒莊同樣位於Kakheti的中心，所以同樣是大約離Tbilisi 2小時的車程。

Geographically, Chateau Buera is inside the Lopota Spa Resort area, which is owned by the same owner. The restaurants, hotel rooms, spa, and the winery are situated around the Lopota Lake. Everything is at a walkable distance but shuttles are also available. At the moment we arrived the gate of the resort area, we knew the inside was gonna be wonderful! The entrance itself was already a beautiful scene with a modern yet naturalistic building, and the lake was just a few steps away. 

Chateau Buera的酒窖本身其實位於Lopota Spa Resort度假村範圍，由同一個家庭擁有，所有餐廳、酒店房、水療中心及酒窖都是圍繞著Lopota湖泊，全部都在可步行範圍，但亦有電動接駁小巴服務。由我們到達度假村大閘開始，已經感受到內裡的質素！閘口本身已經可以見到湖泊，旁邊是既現代又貼近大自然設計的接待處建築。

We soon walked to one of the restaurants serving traditional Georgian food. This was definitely one of the best Georgian foods that we have had throughout the trip, especially the freshly baked bread and khachapuri (something like a thin slice of pizza with purely melted Georgian cheese). 

我們隨即去了度假村內的傳統格魯吉亞餐廳，而這餐絕對是我們整個旅程吃過其中一餐最好的格魯吉亞食品，尤其新鮮焗製的麵包和Khachapuri芝士薄餅。

Right after lunch, we visited the Chateau Buera winery! The building itself is absolutely gorgeous, probably the best winery design in Georgia. The inside of the building was even more fascinating. The cellar, the qvevri room, the restaurant, and balcony. Everything was perfectly designed in the most beautiful way they could be. As a modern winery with modern approach, what makes Chateau Bueras different from the others is that French oak barrels are used for qvevri reserve wines. This is a very rare approach in Georgia so you can consider Chateau Buera to be a winery that combines traditional Georgian winemaking techniques with a French alteration. This also suggests why they call themselves a “Chateau”, which is more commonly used in France.

之後，我們很快到達Chateau Buera的酒莊建築。其建築本身的設計非常美麗，可能是格魯吉亞最美麗的酒莊設計！裡面更是華麗而實用的空間，酒窖、陶罐房、餐廳、平台等，全部都經過精心設計。作為現代化的酒莊，Chateau Buera與其他格魯吉亞酒莊不同的是，他們的陶罐酒會用法國橡木桶陳釀，結合了傳統格魯吉亞傳統及法國釀製方法，這亦可能他們採用法式名稱「Chateau」。

We had such a great opportunity to stay for a night in the resort and spent a brief time in the spa! The room was so comfortable with a garden that’s just a few steps away from the lake. At night, the view turns magical with a full moon and swans walking by. It definitely felt like heaven. The spa was located on the foothill next to the lake. Once I stepped into the spa, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. Everything afterwards including suggestions for the choice of treatment, clothes for changing, and the spa itself, was just perfectly arranged. The individual room has a view of the hill, the forest, and the lake. It couldn’t be more relaxing than this. If you haven’t been to Georgia, this worths a flight ticket, even just for this spa resort and winery. 

我們有幸可以在這度假村住縮一晚，並享用了按摩療程！酒店房間非常舒適，花園一開門便是湖泊風景，在夜晚更是夢幻，當晚有滿月相伴，更有天鵝在散步，彷彿置身於天堂一樣！而水療中心位於附近的山腳，職員的服務非常細心，而且有湖泊及山林風景，很難想像有比這裏更好的環境！如果你未去過格魯吉亞，這個酒莊／度假村／水療中心絕對值得你到訪格魯吉亞！
