THE VINEYARD
Châteauneuf-du-Pape since 1931, Brotte Family Vineyards is owner/vintner of three distinct terroirs and family domains in the southern Rhone Valley. Here, Grenache the king, flourishes and expresses all of it’s fruit. For our red blends, the addition of Syrah and Mourvedre work wonders, adding freshness and structure.
VINICULTURE
Since 2014, our wines carry the TERRA VITIS French environmental label. This reference imposes sustainable agriculture principles, respecting nature from the vine to the glass, as well as within the company – something that was already at the heart of our philosophy.
THREE TERROIRS
Brotte Family Vineyards is owner/vintner of three distinct terroirs and family domains in the southern Rhone Valley.
• At Domain Barville AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the climate is very hot and the soil types varied. The wines express power and silkiness.
• At Domain Grosset, AOC Cairanne since 2016, the climate is hot and dry, while the two soil types bring a balance of heat and freshness. The resulting wines are generous and balanced.
• At Château de Bord AOC Côtes du Rhône Village Laudun, soils are deep and the climate is cooler. This allows the production of supple, fine wines.
