Type of soil: limy and stony
Yield: 1,500 kg per hectare
Harvest: hand-harvested
Elaboration: soft destemming and pressing. Fermented with regular remontages by hand in small open tanks of 2,000 to 3,000 kg of capacity, under controlled temperature of 26 and 28 ºC. Total maceration with grape skins of 12 days. Devatting followed of a soft pneumatic pressing. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tank
Ageing: 18 months in new French oak barrels
Bottling: May 2017
Production: 1,330 bottles

beautiful, brilliant and deep garnet, in colour. On the nose, it displays seductive aromas of ripe black fruits like blackcurrants and plums, with notes of toasted wood, black liquorice and spices like clove and black pepper. On the palate, it is seductive, rounded and pleasant, with a mouth coating texture formed by melted and rounded tannins. It is fresh and balanced, with a pleasant aftertaste displaying some Mediterranean herbs like laurel aromas, blackberries and black pepper.
