Another new brand has arrived Hong Kong! Castaño & Co has joined the Pinewood Wine family and become our 24th exclusive brand.
Based in the heart of DO Yecla in Spain, it was founded by Ramon Castono Senta in 1950. Established to develop a different perspective of the existing winemaking tradition in southeastern Spain. Leading the Industry with avant-garde technologies and processes in both vineyard and winery to produce high quality wines with native varieties, focusing specially on Monastrell. The continuous research done by Castaño & Co has led to experiments with other varieties such as Macabeo for producing white wines, and study their potential in Yecla’s soil tipicity and weather conditions. The result is the creation of very elegant, easy-drinking wines full of vibrant notes.
The winery implemented ISO9001 and ISO14001 on quality and environmental management systems. Sustainble and environmental friendly practices are also adopted to keep the wines away from chemicals.
