Tasted en primeur at the château. A blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the Echo has a well-defined, graphite infused bouquet that is tightly wound at the moment. The palate is nicely defined and citric fresh although there is a little hardness towards the finish. Tasted April 2013.

A soft, juicy red, the 2012 Echo de Lynch-Bages is a pretty wine to drink over the next handful of years, while the fruit remains vibrant. Sweet red plum, dried flowers and menthol open nicely, with a hint of over-ripe fruit that lingers on the finish. The blend is 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. Drink 2016-2024.
