CONTROLLED APPELLATION
Located at the limit north of the Côte de Nuits, Marsannay is the alone village in Burgundy able to produce white, red and rosé wines. The appellation was created in 1997 bur the first rosés were already produced in 1929 ! The rosé wines have done the reputation of the village.

Clayey, limestone.
WINE-MAKING
Manual Grape harvest. Selection of the grapes by hand (on a table) Controlled temperatures (cooling system). Wine making adapted to the rosé with a very fast pneumatic pressing.
Maturation in stainless vats during 11 months.
CHARACTER AND STYLE
The rosé of Marsannay is fruity (peach and raspberry) but also fleshy with a good vinosity.
The presence of a good acidity permit to the wine to keep its freshness and its fruity characters 2 or 3 years.
AGEING AND SERVICE
To drink young. Temperature of service: 12-13°C
This wine accompanies the culinary savours rather delicate.
Shellfish, grilled fishes, white meat, delicatessen are advised.
