CONTROLLED APPELLATION
This village, the largest of the Côte Chalonnaise, is also the most famous wine of this coast. It is located at 12 kilometres from the south of the Côte de Beaune. Village in relief with various exposures, it extends on two villages; Mercurey and Saint-Martin-sous-Montaigu; hamlet also has climates classified 1er Crus (white and red).
CHARACTER AND STYLE
A typical Chardonnay gold, it varies in its degree of paleness and is flecked with green. It boasts aromas of white flowers (orange blossoms, acacia), hazelnut and almond. Full of flavour, it is an eminently drinkable wine.
AGEING AND SERVICE
To drink young or to keep 3-5 years. Temperature of service: 8-10°C
